We are a couple weeks into the new year and it’s given me plenty of time to reflect and make some plans for the year ahead.
My first priority is going to be graduating. I am on track to graduate at the end of Summer with my Bachelors in Strategic Leadership. I cannot wait and am going to work hard to maintain my good GPA and most importantly, NOT procrastinate homework and stress myself out.
Next, maintain good health. I worked so hard last year to lose weight and I don’t want to sabotage it whatsoever. However, I do also want to enjoy myself because losing it did involve a lot of sacrifices. So Sunday-Friday will be strict, and Saturday’s (and while on vacations, of course) will involve some treats.
Career, career, career. I love my job and I want to get to the next level and learn all I can from those I work with. There is so much to learn in the banking industry and I’m excited to see what the year ahead has for me.
Pay off credit card debt. Yes, this means sacrificing the trip to Iceland we so wanted to make this year, but our dreams of being homeowners is something we need to make a reality and unfortunately those darn credit cards are holding us back. So after our trip to Europe in the Spring it’s time to budget.
