Hassleback Chicken

One of my co-workers stumbled across a recipe similar to this, and I couldn’t resist trying it out! I added my own little touches to it to tailor it to our taste.


3-4 chicken breasts

Gouda cheese

1/2 onion

1/2 cup mushrooms

3 cloves of garlic

4 tbsp butter

Italian seasoning to taste


Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking sheet and place chicken breasts on top. Make a few slits in the chicken, but not all the way though. Place the cheese in the slits.

Saute the onion, garlic, mushrooms, Italian seasoning and butter together over medium heat until the onions start to become translucent. Then, pour over the chicken breasts and bake for about 30-40 minutes.
