Such good (and somewhat blurry) memories of Jamaica! During the few hours we were there in February of 2013, we had a blast at the Margaritaville in Montego Bay. Letting us then 20 year old’s free in a land where the drinking age is 18, (rather than 21 here in the U.S), became an interesting experiment for all involved…
First, we took the typical cruise picture with a “pirate” 🙂
Aside from shopping, there isn’t much to do in the city of Falmouth. So we hopped in a cab and headed out to Montego Bay. On the way there, our cab driver took us to a store for legitimate Jamaican Blue coffee. It was definitely the BEST ever! It really doesn’t need cream or sugar, it is just that good. When we reached Margaritaville we headed up to the open-aired top deck for an afternoon of fun.
First the Incommunicado’s were ordered…what is in it I cannot recall. Mainly Tequila! And then Logan had to (of course) try out shots of Patron.
Lest we forget the silly purchases that were made…and still taking up space on my bookshelf to this day.
Taking pictures with the men on stilts was a must! There were a lot of entertainers meandering around the bar.
We hope to visit Jamaica again someday and see more of what the beautiful country has to offer. The little afternoon we had sure was a blast 🙂
