“I can’t solve problems with cupcakes, but it sure makes me feel better.”
Baking is truly the only therapy I need. Nothing relieves stress more than whipping up a batch of goodies! I absolutely love anything involving strawberries, so I took that craving and turned it into a delicious dessert for all to enjoy.
- 1 box of yellow cake mix (or preferred homemade mix)
- 1 stick of butter, softened
- 3-4 cups of powdered sugar
- 3 TBSP of strawberry topping
Prepare cupcakes according to package. Let them cool completely.
Beat 1 stick of butter on a low-speed while slowly adding powdered sugar. Add in strawberry topping one tbsp at a time. If frosting is too soft, chill until it is more firm. If it is too firm, mix in milk in tsp increments.
Pipe frosting onto the cupcakes and enjoy! Keep refrigerated if not eating immediately.
