Peanut Butter Heaven

Peanut Butter: Life’s sweet gift, heaven in a jar…the glue that holds my life together. There really is no wrong way to eat peanut butter (well, besides NOT eating it).

This dessert recipe is inspired by one I stumbled across on Pinterest, but of course I made a few changes to make it even more fantastic. The best part of this recipe is that it is easy and does not require any baking! I like to call it:

” Peanut Butter Heaven “

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1- 13 x 9 baking pan (or two small ones like I used)
  • 1- Package of Nutter Butter cookies.
  • 1- Container of cool whip.
  • 2- Packages of instant Pudding, Chocolate & Vanilla.
  • 1- Cup of peanut butter, melted.
  • As many chocolate chips as your heart desires.

Side note: I opted for the sugar-free versions of the pudding and cool whip, since the recipe is sweet enough, but feel free to use the regular versions as well! 🙂

Step 1:

Line the baking pan with Nutter Butter cookies

Step 2:

Prepare pudding as directed. Place in fridge while you complete step three.

Step 3:

This is my absolute favorite. Heat the peanut butter in the microwave for about 1 minute, and drizzle over the Nutter Butter cookies. Your kitchen will smell amazing!

Step 4:

Spread the chocolate & vanilla pudding mixtures over top, in whichever order you prefer. Top with Cool whip.

Step 5:

Drizzle the rest of the peanut butter over the top of the Cool Whip, then sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Chill for a 4-5 hours so that the cookies soften up a bit. Enjoy!
